As the mother of an 18 year old daughter, I've seen firsthand how quickly this season of life arrives.
It's a season that comes with a lot of questions.
Questions about who they are becoming, where they fit, and how to navigate adulthood while continuing to strengthen their relationship with Jehovah.
As parents, we do our best to guide our daughters. But we also recognize the value of having other caring Christian women who can encourage them, share their experiences, and take a genuine interest in them.
I've often heard Gilead graduates, pioneers, and mature Christians speak about someone who took a personal interest in them. Those relationships mattered.
That's the kind of encouragement we hope to foster through this experience.
By combining Gwendolyn's passion for creating meaningful experiences with Leslie Ann's experience mentoring young women, our goal is to create a space where young women feel encouraged, supported, and reminded that they are not navigating this season of life alone.
Simply put, we care. We're intentionally making time and space for them.
Most importantly, we want every young woman to leave feeling more confident, encouraged, and reassured that she has people in her corner who genuinely care about her and her relationship with Jehovah.
Let's be honest.
Even with good guidance and reliable resources, this stage of life can come with a lot of questions.
You're making decisions, setting goals, figuring things out, and trying to stay focused on what's most important.
Some days you feel confident.
Some days you don't.
The Next Chapter is a chance to step away from the noise, spend time with other young women, ask honest questions, and learn from women who have successfully navigated many of the same experiences you're facing.
No pressure.
No pretending.
Just real conversations, new experiences, and people who genuinely care about you and your future.
Come as you are.
Leave feeling more confident about what's ahead.

You've watched her grow from a little girl into a young woman. You've celebrated her accomplishments, supported her through challenges, and watched her begin making decisions that will shape the next chapter of her life.
This season brings new opportunities, new responsibilities, and bigger questions about friendships, identity, goals, and the future.
You want her to have positive association.
You want her to build a genuine sisterhood.
You want her to know her value.
Most of all, you want her to know she doesn't have to navigate this season of life alone while strengthening her relationships with Jehovah. .
The Next Chapter: A Young Women's Weekend Experience was created with that in mind.
Through meaningful conversations, mentorship, spiritual encouragement, and shared experiences, young women will connect with peers and mature Christian sisters who understand both the opportunities and challenges of this unique stage of life.

The Next Chapter is designed for JW young women ages 17–20 who are looking for encouragement, positive association, and meaningful conversations as they navigate this season of life.
To get the most from the weekend, participants should come with an open mind, a willingness to participate, and a desire to learn, grow, and connect with others.
This is not a conference or classroom setting. It's an opportunity for young women to slow down, ask questions, learn from others, and spend time with women who genuinely care about them.
It's intended to be a moment for our young women to pause, step away from the noise, strengthen their relationship with Jehovah, and gain perspective from women who have successfully navigated many of the same experiences they are facing.

We care deeply about our young women.
As a mother and a mentor, we recognized the value of creating a space where young women can strengthen their relationship with Jehovah, ask questions, learn from the experiences of others, and spend time with women who genuinely care about them.
The Next Chapter was created with that purpose in mind.
Participants will stay in shared hotel accommodations with 3 to 4 young women per room. Room assignments will be made thoughtfully by the hosts based on registration information and roommate matching considerations. Our goal is to create a comfortable and welcoming environment for everyone.
